Alyssa Campbell joined the SHAPE Hub through the UBC seed2STEM summer research program, a paid internship designed to increase Indigenous youth participation in STEM fields. During her six-week placement, Alyssa played a key role in supporting participant recruitment for the Indigenous Women and 2S People Research Priority Setting project. She contributed to outreach efforts, helped ensure materials were youth-friendly and culturally appropriate, and provided valuable insight into how research can better engage Indigenous communities, specifically the youth.
