Knowledge exchange and mobilization (KxM) is a process in which researchers and knowledge partners collaborate on research to share ideas, evidence, and expertise to inform policies, practices, public dialogue, and drive positive societal change. This two-part workshop will introduce key terminology, discuss its purpose, and explore diverse strategies to bridge research evidence with real-world impact. Through hands-on exercises, you will learn how to develop a comprehensive knowledge translation plan, ensuring that your valuable research reaches key partners and drives positive change in sexual health and genito-pelvic pain research and care. By the end of the workshop series, learners will be able to: – Understand the purpose and importance of KxM in a research context – Develop a common language around KxM – Map knowledge users and partners and identify opportunities for engagement – Identify a diversity of KxM approaches and strategies – Explore successful KxM strategies for sexual health research – Apply a framework for building a KxM plan – Embed an equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) lens to KxM processes from the beginning (collecting knowledge) to the end (dissemination and implementation) of the research
